Aviation compliance, by aviators.
Delta Bravo Aviation, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) helping Part 135 operators move through certification, surveillance, and amendments without losing weeks of momentum.
The gap we close
Most Part 135 operators have everything they need to be compliant — strong manuals, capable people, a clear operation. What they don't have is the bandwidth to translate that operation into the precise, traceable documentation the FAA's SAS framework demands. DCTs (Data Collection Tools) sit on the corner of someone's desk for weeks while other tasks are prioritized.
That's the gap Delta Bravo Aviation closes. We bring the documentation and citation discipline. You bring the manuals and the operational truth. Together, what arrives at your inspector's desk is clean, defensible, and on time.
Our approach
Scoped to your certificate. We don't generate boilerplate. Every answer is filtered through the OpSpecs you actually hold and the operations you actually run. If something doesn't apply, we say so — and we say why.
Traceable end-to-end. Every assertion in a DCT or manual revision links back to a specific paragraph in your manual suite or the underlying regulation. Inspectors can verify in seconds.
Confidential by default. Mutual NDAs precede every engagement. Your manuals never sit on a third-party server — they live in your private, encrypted folder under our infrastructure.
Who we are
Daniel Buehner
Founder & Principal, Delta Bravo Aviation, LLC
Daniel has spent 27 years in nearly every seat of the aviation business — from line service on the ramp, to airport authority marketing, to USAF aircraft maintenance, to test engineering at Lockheed Martin, to the airlines, charter, and international flight decks. That breadth lets him move fluently between the maintenance, engineering, and operations perspectives that good compliance documentation has to reconcile.
What sharpened the consulting practice came after the cockpit. As Chief Pilot, Director of Safety, and Director of Operations across multiple Part 135 operators — and as the architect of full build-outs for multiple Part 135 certificates — he has lived where DCTs, manual suites, and OpSpecs hold up under inspector pressure, and where they don't. Delta Bravo Aviation is the distillation of that experience: documentation discipline from someone who has filled the seats you're hiring him to support.
A USAF veteran, Daniel founded Delta Bravo Aviation as an SDVOSB so that small-business attentiveness comes paired with a credential that is meaningful.
What this means for you
Working with Delta Bravo means working directly with the principal — no junior-staff handoffs, no opaque processes. Every DCT, every manual revision, and every certification engagement runs through one accountable owner.
If we take it on, we deliver it.
What SDVOSB means — and why it matters to you
Delta Bravo Aviation is certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The certification means the company is majority-owned and controlled by a veteran with a service-connected disability, verified by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Practically, it makes Delta Bravo eligible for federal contracting set-asides — including FAA, DoD, and other federal aviation work where SDVOSB status counts toward agency small-business goals. If your organization holds a federal contract or pursues federal aviation work, partnering with an SDVOSB consultancy may streamline procurement and contribute to your subcontracting plan.
For commercial Part 135 operators, the certification also signals what we believe matters most: a small, disciplined operation that is accountable to a single owner.
